Paula’s List of Blogging Salaries
Back on May 08 of 2007, Paula posted a list of blogging salaries that took the world by storm. At least the blogging world that is. While I’m sure it was missing many, many salaries and included a few individuals who purists would not consider pure bloggers, it still provided an interesting, somewhat comprehensive, and thought provoking list. Since I commented on that article, Paula decided to email me and see if I was willing to share my blogger earnings. I promptly responded that if making $10 a month was enough to get me on the list, I’m ready to divulge the info to the general public (actually if you read my post about my first month of writing a business blog, you’ll see that I had close to 1000 visitors, but didn’t even mention the dollars and cents).
In reality, my earnings were not $10, but $5.58. This was about what I expected and let’s just call that a rounding error
Another proof that blogging is not a money-making endeavor, but hopefully a career-promoting one…
In any case, Paula was nice enough to let me know that this would make the list and I am happy to send traffic and two links her way. Her blog is a great read and I’ve looked through each and every post. I’m sure that she does the same when it comes to my blog.
Thanks Paula!

Thank you so much, Mark.
For your accurate numbers and for double the link love.
Don’t worry, I believe those numbers will grow exponentially.
With all this research I’m doing on blogger/webmaster/domainers salaries for my new list, I’m learning a whole lotta money-making tips from guys all over the board…
One who makes $5.58 per month (ahem), one who pulls down $150 per day…to the guys who live in the Cayman Islands with $20 million dollar portfolios and a gazillion domains.
Take care and thanks for playing,
Paula

anytime! of course the last comment you made was the most important… if you don’t play, you can’t win.

Hi Ken,
Congratulations on making no. 117 on the list and on the professional loking site! I have written a very brief analysis of Paula’s list here http://www.netmonetization.com/2007/06/show-me-money-paula-mooneys-making.html - I am now considering doing posts about various people (mainly beginners) who are on the list - would you be interested in me doing a short post about your blog? I would be particulary interested to know if you have noticed any change since Paula published her list. I did a short post about Courtney Tuttle - here - http://www.netmonetization.com/2007/06/knowledge-is-weightless.html (I don’t think he knows yet). There wouldn’t be any charge but it would be useful if you could link to my site if you agree. Let me know what you think. Regards, Vic
